Mule Deer Foundation (MDF)
Ensuring the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer and their habitats. MDF's goals center on restoring, improving and protecting mule deer habitat, which result in self-sustaining, healthy, free-ranging, and huntable mule deer populations. MDF achieves its goals through partnering with state and federal wildlife agencies, conservation groups, businesses and individuals to fund and implement habitat enhancement projects on both public and private lands.

Arizona Deer Association

Mule Deer Working Group (MDWG)
Established in 1997, consisting of a representative from each member state and Canadian province. Since that time, the MDWG has been successfully addressing mule and black-tailed deer concerns shared among wildlife agencies in western North America.

Wyoming Game and Fish Mule Deer Working Group
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has roots all the way back to the 1890's. This period in our history marks a major decline in the population of wild game in the state of Wyoming due to unlimited harvesting practices used by settlers. During that decade, the positions of State Fish Warden (1890) and State Game Warden (1899) were established to protect Wyoming's wildlife from dangers of over harvesting. These positions were dedicated to the replenishment of the wildlife in the area.

California Deer Association (CDA)
The California Deer Association is a non-profit, tax-exempt wildlife conservation organization whose principal goal is to improve our California deer herds and other wildlife through direct financial support for habitat improvement and research projects. Seventy-five percent of the net profit from fund-raising events will go to projects, all of which will be within California's borders.
